The fifth edition of the Indian Festival “Namaste India” is scheduled to take place between June 20 and June 23 in Bucharest. The purpose of the festival is to approach those interested in Indian culture a bit more closer to its routs, the program including dance, music and literature shows, photography, philosophy, tradition and food.
The public will get familiar with the bhajan and qawwali music styles, performed by the Nirmali Bhakti band, and the Tansen Cultural center will delight the public with the classic Indian music instruments at the “ Tinerimea Romana” Art National Center.
The program of the festival will also include the opening of four exhibitions, 6 book releases, film screenings and multimedia presentations, creative workshops for adults and children, and a traditional fair cuisine hosted by “Dimitrie Gusti” National Village Museum.
Open between Friday and Sunday, from 9:00 to 19:00. Entrance free.
