The “Treasures of China” exhibition brings together over a hundred pieces of exceptional value. They come from eleven museums in China and have already reached the Historical Museum in Bucharest.

Visitors will be able to see exposed famous life-sized terracotta warriors, dating back more than two thousand years. The statues are part of the inventory funeral of Emperor Quin Shi Huang.

The terracotta army was found in central China, in the province of San Si. In 1974 were discovered during three archaeological digs, and the objects, soldier, horses, chariots and weapons have real dimensions.

The exhibition-event “Chinese Treasures” opened on April 30 and will be open until August. The price of a ticket is RON: 25 and can be purchased from the Historical Museum.
