The night before Halloween, Hard Rock Café plans a two-in-one event: a themed costume party and a rock concert. THE R.O.C.K. will hold an AC/ DC tribute show once again at the famous venue in Bucharest. The two-hours show returns at the public’s request after two sold-out performances, organizers say. AC/ DC hits like Thunderstruck, You Shook Me All Night Long , Highway to Hell accompanied by the well-known guitar riffs will be the most expected moments of the night. Prices are RON 35 (EUR 8) for regular places and RON 50 (EUR 11) for center-stage places.
Halloween live party

On the Halloween night, Music Club will host a themed party across the street from the Old Town. The club encourages those on the lookout for fun to dress up creatively and join its costume competition for a special prize. Organizers announce the live performance of the Special Guest Orchestra, a band of 12 musicians coming from various projects, and shots on the house. Entry fee is RON 20 (EUR 5). Fuga de Strigoi (The Ghosts Run)

Fuga de Strigoi is a running event planned to take place on a 8 km route in Baneasa Forest. Surprises are hidden along the trail, participants expecting at any moment to meet obstacles or even “ghosts” trying to prevent them to reach the finish line. On the other side, organizers await runners with pumpkin pie and rewards await the brave runners. Kids aged over 10 years can also take part in the run, if accompanied by an adult. Prices are RON 90 (EUR 20) for participants over 14 years and RON 40 (EUR 9) for children aged 10 – 13 years. Registrations are open until October 30, 13:00. Science Hollow Night

The Zombie Nutty Professor awaits kids for a night of “terror-scientific” experiments at the Scikids Garage [link], organizers say. During three hours, kids aged 6 to 13 years can take part in fun experiments, a horror tour, dancing on Michael Jackson’s Thriller song, karaoke, costume parade and surprise-competitions. The price is RON 60 (EUR 13) per participant or RON 200 (EUR 45) per group of 4 participants and includes activities, refreshments and pizza. Entrance is made by reservation only and by dress code – Halloween costumes.
Halloween @ the Bran Castle

A very good choice if you never took the time to visit Count Dracula at his legendary home. Bran Castle will host a special Halloween party, on Saturday, November 1. Horror and mystery fans will be able to enter the Halloween atmosphere inside the castle’s “cold and dark walls”, while Count Dracula himself will accompany the tour through the castle, according to the organizers. The party starts at 19:00 and ends after midnight. It will start with a screening of the 1931 Dracula movie. Prices are RON 50 (EUR 11) for the night tour of the castle and RON 75 (EUR 17) for the tour and the Halloween after party.
