A minute of dance or UF!, a show by the Gigi Căciuleanu Romania Dance Company, is on February 26th and February 27th at Teatrul Mic, starting 20:00. The performance, featuring Romanian dancer and choreographer Gigi Căciuleanu, is dedicated to artist Miriam Răducanu, his teacher.
The performance is conceived with a programed improvisation and each show is a unique one. “The entire show is designed around the complicated and often ‘crazy’ creative process needed to create even one minute of dance. Because of the improvisation each night, to create a minute of dance, each show will be unique. A re-creation each evening, for the viewer…,” Căciuleanu explains.
The music for the performance belongs to Paul Ilea, who was asked to start from the most popular themes of Amadeus Mozart. The dancers in the show are Gigi Căciuleanu, Paul Ilea, Irina Ştefan and Răzvan Stoian. Lelia Marcu – Vladu is the assistant choreographer.
Tickets, priced RON 45 to RON 75, are available at the box office of Teatrul Mic and at eventim.ro.
