An itinerary of love will be organized within the exhibitions Ars Amandi. The theme of love in XVI-XIX centuries European art and Models of behavior in the XVIII century at the National Art Museum in Bucharest, during February 14 and March 8, 2015. The Longing for arrows. Signed: Cupid!/ Dor de sageti. Semnat: Cupidon! itinerary works as a map, challenging visitors to discover exciting details in specially selected works from the two exhibitions.

From one age to another, people have experienced love in different ways. From Renaissance to the Age of Enlightenment, manners and morals, freedom and libertine spirit were keywords in the social game. This itinerary of love takes a look through the keyhole at various personifications and roles Venus and Amor have taken throughout time.

The Longing for arrows. Signed: Cupid!/ Dor de sageti. Semnat: Cupidon! itinerary is available in print at the museum ticket offices (ground floor of the National Gallery and the entrance at 1-3 Ştirbei Vodă Street). By filling it out, visitors can enter a draw and win one of the 10 catalogs offered by MNAR after March 8.

On February 14, the museum celebrates Valentine’s Day offering free entry for the public to the exhibitions Ars Amandi. The theme of love in XVI-XIX centuries European art and Models of behavior in the XVIII century. During February 15 and March 8, the two exhibitions can be visited together with a special ticket worth RON 15.
