The world famous tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform for the first time in Romania at Romexpo, on May 25, starting from 20:00.

Bocelli had his debut in the 90s. Blind since 12, after being born with serious glaucoma, he became internationally known in 1996, with the song ‘Con te partiro’.

Trained to be a lawyer and having practiced for a while in Pisa, Bocelli chose to follow his passion for music instead. He became famous for his performance of songs such as ‘Time To Say Goodbye”, “Con te Partiro”, “Vivo Per Lei”, “Besame Mucho” and “Nessun Dorma”.

Andreea Bocelli will perform along with other famous artists such as soprano Angela Gheorghiu and Paola Sanguinetti, conductor Marcello Rota, CARisMA group, Cezar Ouatu, and the National Radio Orchestra Orchestra.

Tickets for the concert are priced between RON 150 and RON 1,400 and are available online on and in Unirea Shopping Center, Muzica store, Sala Palatului, Diverta and Eminescu bookshops, and the Unirii metro station.
