The events at the Astronomical Observatory “Amiral Vasile Urseanu”, now under renovation, move in the following months to Sutu Palace, the Museum of Bucharest. Held on February 28 and March 14, the next two are based on foreign astronomy programs and include screenings and live explanations.
Held in the dark and accompanied by live explanations, „How many stars are there on the sky?” is a presentation of the Universe’s enormous number of stars, based on an astronomy program and a database of astronomical observations. At the event held this Saturday, February 28, at 19:00, visitors can see how the sky looks like with the naked eye and through telescope, as well as a collection of objects observed by astronomers until now.
“Journey through the Universe” on March 14, at 19:00 uses an astronomy program created by the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ), accompanied by a screening and live explanations.
