The Kiseleff boulevard in Bucharest will be closed to car traffic on Sunday, September 20th, between 9.00 and 20.00 to allow RuralFest to take place, in the segment between Victoriei square and the Arh. Ion Mincu St. The event looks to reconnect those who live in urban areas to their rural sources of food and promotes healthy food choices, protecting the environment and the sustainable use of natural resources.

The around 200 exhibitors prepared for the attending public a fair of independent producers from around the country, selling traditional, natural or ecological products, either food or cosmetic ones; exhibitions and demonstrations of local crafts; stands of states with embassies in Romania displaying products specific to their country; an animals’ micro-farm; games and workshops for children; traditional music concerts.

The event will end with a concert by Taraf de Haidouks.
