The first edition of the ‘Bucharest Easter Fair’ will be held in the capital between April 5 and April 8, 2012, at Bell’Agio Casa exhibition center (157D, Calea Rahovei street).

The fair will be officially opened with the ‘Couleurs des femmes’ painting exhibition by Aleha Năstase. The event will include Easter traditions, customs, and products, as well as shows, exhibitions and contests for children and families.

“We wish to promote a new fair concept, where visitors can explore the authentic specificity of the Romanian historical regions of Wallachia, Transylvania, Moldavia and Dobrogea, recreated in Bucharest by artisans and traditional producers,” said Norris Măgeanu, Vice-president of ROI Association, the organizer of the event.

At the fair, there will be all manner of arty types  (including several graffiti artists, painters, potters, sculptors, craftspeople, dancers and singers) who will be showing off their talents and techniques.
