The National History Museum in Bucharest opened an exhibition outlining the history of the computer. Titled PC. A fascinating history, the exhibition is open until June 21st and can be visited Wednesday to Sunday, between 10.00 and 18.00.

The exhibition presents the evolution of computers, from the first calculus machines to the modern-day computers. Most of the exhibits date back to the 1970s and 1980s.

Besides the now-historic Apple, Commodore, IBM, Lear-Siegler and Osborne items on display, visitors can also see locally-manufactured computers by ICE Felix, Electronica, or the Bucharest Automatic Research Center (CCAB). One of the oldest exhibits on display is an 1943 mechanical calculator made in Sweden by Original-Odhner.
