The Bucharest International Film Festival BIFF will take place this year between April 18th and April 24th at the Elvire Popescu cinema, the Romanian Peasant Museum and at Clubul Taranului. Besides screenings, the festival will include various workshops and master-classes dedicated to children and adults alike.
Two films that were part of the Berlin Film Festival competition will be screened at the event. They are: Soy Nero, directed by Rafi Pitts and with Răzvan Rădulescu as co-script writer and A Dragon Arrives, directed by Mani Haghighi.
The festival is known for promoting author films and small budget productions. BIFF is focused on international movies with no local distribution, as well as on most recent local films. This twelve edition of the event will feature, besides the Competition and Best 4 Kids sections, two new sections: Le Film francophone and Venice, dedicated to the Venice International Film Festival.
Tickets can be purchased at the box office of the screening venues and festival passes, priced RON 100, at eventbook.ro.
