Scottish celebration Burns Supper will take place this year on January 30th at the Intercontinental Hotel in Bucharest. The event is organized by the Light into Europe charity, which helps sensory impaired children and young people. Two free dance practices will be organized prior to the event on January 17th and January 24th from 19.00 to 21.00 to help participants hone their Scottish dance skills.

A Burns supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of Scottish poet Robert Burns and are normally held on or near the poet’s birthday on January 25th. They are usually celebrated in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
