A monument-building in the historic center of Bucharest reopens its doors after a quarter century this Thursday, February 12, at 10:00. The “Carousel of Lights”, as the Chrissoveloni building on 55 Lipscani Street in the Old Town was called, is revived by the opening of Cărtureşti Carusel, a new bookstore at the heart of the city.

The official opening event starts at 20:00 with a performance by Silent Strike, Romanian electronic music composer, video projections by Dan Basu and a glass of wine. Entrance is free. For more updates on the opening and concert, check out the event page.

The opening hours at Cărtureşti Carusel are 10:00 – 24:00.
