A new creative workshop plans to teach kids how to draw characters starting from zero skills and simple shapes. The approach is different from the traditional – landscapes, portraits, still life study – focusing on fun and engaging children. Trainer is Diana Necșulescu, children’s book illustrator and freelance graphic artist passionate about cartoons, watercolors and animals.

The 4 weeks workshop includes 8 sessions, out of which five are planned for crayon drawing and three for watercolor. At the end, kids will all take part in making a common illustration in which each of their drawing will be connected with the others’.

The workshop is scheduled to take place between March 7 and 29 in the beautiful setting of Cotroceni neighborhood, at HOMEproject, on Saturdays and Sundays, from 12:30 to 14:30. The maximum number of participants is 10, while the minimum is 5. The ideal age for kids to enjoy the workshop is 10 to 14. Registrations can be made by February 26, by email at [email protected], mentioning the name, age for the child and examples of favorite books, cartoons, games or movies. The participation fee of RON 450 includes the materials used during the sessions, the diplomas to be handed at the end and the kids’ drinks during the sessions.
