The 23rd edition of the Gaudeamus Book and Education Fair takes place between November 16th and November 20th in the Central Pavilion of Romexpo Exhibition Centre.

The guest country will present current titles of contemporary Chinese literature and a program of events for both book industry professionals and the public. Present for the first time in Romania at last year’s Gaudeamus, publishing houses in China will return to Bucharest with their most representative titles.

Those visiting the fair are expected to encounter hundreds of thousands of titles from the Romanian and international market, exhibitions and many more events.

Earlier this year, the Shenzen Symphony Orchestra played in Bucharest at the RadiRo festival.

The fair can be visited daily between 10:00 and 20:00.

Last year’s edition of the fair saw 300 exhibitors, 125,000 visitors and 700 accompanying events: book launchings and signing sessions, debates, presentations. Over 5,000 books were donated by visitors and exhibitors for public libraries.
