This year the Christmas Trees Festival, at its 12th edition, offers 27 creations, bearing the signature of famous Romanian designers and artists. Money raised from the evening auction gala will bring children without education and financial support the opportunity for a better life. The event will take place on December 6 at  Radisson Blu Hotel, Bucharest and starts at 19.00.

Agnes Keszeg, the known illustrator and puppet designer, also joined this year’s festival edition, all necessary graphics and illustration bearing his signature.

The Christmas Trees Festival story began in 2001 when “Salvati Copii” (Save the Children) Romania organization, inspired by a successful idea from England, has develop a unique way of raising funds for offering education to children living in vulnerable places.

Throughout the years, the event grew in scale, with more and more designers involved. They are invited to invent the brightest, most originally decorated and unusual Christmas trees .

Salvati Copii Romania (Save the Children Romania) is an NGO active in promoting children rights since 1990. In its 22 ears activity, over 750,000 children have benefited from organization programs. More details about these programs can be find on their website.
