Urban Fest, the event organized by the Representation of the EU in Romania, focuses this year on circular economy, a model which proposes a balance between sustainable development and quality eco-design, while protecting natural resources and encouraging creative recovery.
The festival takes place between October 1st and October 4th and features events for both the general public and a specialized audience.
An agora dedicated to responsible consumption will take place in the George Enescu square in Bucharest between October 1st and October 3rd, with the aim of explaining circular economy.
The festival also features an exhibition of abandoned spaces which have the potential to be activated for cultural and creative activities. An acoustic concert of local group Urma is also scheduled, as is the screening of 2012 documentary Trashed.
The full program of the event can be checked here.
Access for the general public is open between 10:00 and 18:00 on Saturday and Sunday, and between 10:00 and 14:00 on Monday.
