This week, the main subway stations in Bucharest become stages for classical music and art performances. To the delight of those travelling by subway, the stations Piața Unirii 1, Piața Unirii 2, Universitate and Piața Victoriei host concerts each day from 17:30 – to 19:00, until Friday, November 14. They take place right on the subway platforms and are accompanied by ballet, contemporary dance, even salsa performances and live painting or drawing.

This year, the event reached its third edition and managed to bring new ways to bring classical music into the public’s attention. Until November 30, every morning, from 07:30 to 08:30, the plasma screens located on the platforms of these stations will play a classical music program. For the first time in its history, Metrorex, the subway company, will host classical ballet performances.

F64 Studio will join with a post-project exhibition capturing some of the most moving expressions of the participants at the shows.
