A benefit concert starring Alexandra Dariescu and conductor Tiberiu Soare will take place at the Romanian Athenaeum on Thursday, October 25, at 18:00. The benefit concert takes place each year, celebrating the anniversary of His Majesty King Mihai of Romania, in the presence of the Royal Family of Romania.

The funds raised from ticket sales and sponsorships will support the national program Tinere Talente 2015. Through it, Fundatia Principesa Margareta a Romaniei provides scholarships, mentoring programs and opportunities to promote young artists with modest financial situation.

Alexandra Dariescu is the first Romanian-born pianist who held a concert on the stage of Royal Albert Hall in London with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Tiberiu Soare is one of the most popular conductors from the young generation of Romanian musicians. The two will be accompanied by The Orchestra of Fundatia Principesa Margareta a Romaniei.
