The second edition of Amural festival, dedicated to contemporary visual arts, will take place between September 1st and September 4th in Brasov.

Besides the added day, the event will take place in an extended area, starting from the Multicultural Center of the Transylvania University to the Black Tower, the Ecaterina Gate to the Weavers Bastion.

Over 80 artists are expected to attend the event. The public can see photography, illustration, design and painting exhibitions. The yard of the Aprily Lajos College will host a cinema and two stages for live music will be set up at the Weavers Bastion and the White Tower. Video-mapping as an artistic means of expression will also be presented to the public.

Some of the highlights of the event are the participation of Spanish VDJ Microfeel, the photogrammetry course delivered by Erdal Inci and Cagri Taskin from Turkey, as well as the exhibition “1% Privilege in a Time of Global Inequality”, curated by Myles Little.
