This Friday, February 1, Romanian band Cuantune will perform at Cafe Godot Theater in Bucharest. Cuantune is a Romanian nu-jazz project born in 2010 from the creative minds of two talented musicians with totally different personalities, Cruxfader and Elisabeth. For the live performances, Cuantune presents and extended formula, the two founding members being joined on stage by other experimented musicians like Andreas Aaron (bass), Alexandru Olteanu (piano) and Matt Smith (drums).
Among their successful tracks released so far including “Stand Up On Your Feet”, “This Time”, “Tonight” and “Addiction”. Cuantune’s music has its roots in the 40’s Jazz, bringing that idealistic atmosphere to the present times through a fusion of musical elements borrowed from soul, funk, electro, DnB or hip-hop, surprising the audience with it’s freshness.
