Swedish post-metal band Cult of Luna will perform for the first time in Romania on April 29, at The Silver Church club in Bucharest. The warm-up of the event will be held by Romanian bands The Ocean and Lo.

Cult of Luna is a Swedish post-metal group, formed in the city of Umea in 1998 from the remains of Eclipse band, and gained appreciation and respect from the beginning in the international underground scene, after releasing to materials: Cult of Luna (2001) and The Beyond (2003).

The band achieved true success in 2004 with the release of Salvation, a real masterpiece of metal music, noted at the time with 10/10 in Metal Hammer magazine. It was the only album after Metallica – “Black Album” which managed to get a maximum score in the top of the famous British magazine.

Cult of Luna come in Romania to promote their new album called “Vertikal”, after a 5-year break. The album is influenced by “Motropolis” movie, a hallucinatory journey into the world of machines and repetition.

They will hold a second concert on Tuesday, April 30 in Club Daos, in Timisoara.

The concert from Bucharest will begin at 21:00. Tickets can be purchased from iabilet.ro at 2 price categories: RON 55 until April 30 and RON 65 in he day of the concert.
