The Czech Republic will be the honorary guest at this year’s edition of the Bookfest book fair, set to take place between May 20-24 at Romexpo. As such, writers Tomáš Zmeškal, the winner of the 2011 EU Literature Prize, Kateřina Tučková, author of the best seller The Goddesses of Žítková, writer and playwright Roman Ráž, poet Kateřina Rudčenková and writer Martin Vopěnka will attend the fair.
This year’s edition is an anniversary one, marking ten runs of the event. Visitors will have the opportunity to attend more than 300 events, organized by the 200 participating publishing houses.
Access to the fair and the events is free. Visiting hours are 10.00 to 20.00 on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 10.00 to 21.00 on Friday and Saturday.
