Balkanik Festival, set to take place this fall between September 11th and September 13th is inviting guests to a disco set up at The Ark, a space which will host a new party concept. The space will serve as the festival’s second stage, with the main one to be found at Gradina Uranus, next to the George Cosbuc Flower Market.
At its fifth edition this year, Balkanik Festival aims to introduce local audiences to a selection of thematic musical projects celebrating the diversity and spontaneity of the Balkans region. The main stage at Gradina Uranus will host names such as Fanfara Ciocărlia (Romania); Ivo Papasov & His Wedding Band (Bulgaria); Roots Revival Romania (cu Maria Casandra Hauși & Mehdi Aminian w. Guests); Shantel & Bucovina Club Orkestar (Germania); Kocani Orkestra (Macedonia); Kalyi Jag (Ungaria); Lemon Bucket Orkestra (Canada); Amsterdam Klezmer Band (Olanda).
