The European Film Festival starts in Bucharest May 7 and will be on in the capital city until May 14. Romanian film Home at dad’s by director Andrei Cohn will be screened at the opening gala, to be held at Cinema Pro. Besides Bucharest, the European Film Festival takes place in several cities across the country: Craiova (May 7-14), Targu Mures (May 22-24) and Hunedoara (May 29-31). The public will get to see more than 60 European productions, ranging from dramas, comedies, biographies to documentaries and animation films, coming from 26 European countries. Concerts, workshops and meetings with directors and filming crews will also take place.

Screenings will take place at Cinema Studio, Cinema Elvira Popescu and Cinema Pro. Tickets and subscriptions can be bought from the box offices of the host cinemas. The full program of the event is available here.
