The third edition of the European Literature Night will take place in several different locations in Bucharest on May 28.

The event will be hosted by six places in Bucharest, namely Aiurart, Foisorul de Foc, Godot la Scoala, Casa Matasari, Modelier and the National University of Theatre and Film UNATC, according to the Romanian Cultural Institute ICR.

Book lovers are invited to attend lectures and performances meant to highlight texts, translated into Romanian, of some important European authors, such as Daniel Glattauer – Austria, Karel Čapek – the Czech Republic, Aléa Torik – Germany, Odysseas Elytis and Yorgos Seferis – Greece, Italo Calvino – Italy, Hilary Mantel, Sarah Dunant, Philippa Gregory and William Shakespeare – UK, and many more.

The readings and performances will take place in the six locations in parallel, once every 45 minutes, between 19,00 and 23,30. The entrance is free.
