The fourth edition of the European Literature Night will take place in Bucharest on October 9th, between 19.00 and 24.00 at the Astronomy Institute of the Romanian Academy and at the Dimitrie Leonida National Technical Museum.
The event aims to promote European values and showcase contemporary texts and new voices of European literature. The two Bucharest locations will host a series of public readings from contemporary fiction, theater or studies, read by invited actors, writers, musicians, professors and journalists.
Fourteen cultural institutions in the capital will take part in the event, which is rolled out by EUNIC Bucharest and organized in a partnership with the Romanian Cultural Institute, the Czech Centre, the Polish Institute, the Goethe Institute, the Balassi Institute, the French Institute, the British Council, the Cervantes Institute, the Austrian Cultural Forum, the Wallonia – Brussels Delegation, the Vito Grasso Italian Institute, the Greek Cultural Foundation, the Ynus Emre Turkish Cultural Centre and the Portuguese Embassy- the Camões Institute.
