The Festival of Light starts all over the country this year on May 16. The festival, which is organized by the Romanian Scouts organization, aims to remind people of the beauty in small things by transforming their cities into spaces where they can rediscover what makes them happy.
The festival, which started in Cluj, is this year at its eleventh run. At its first Cluj edition, almost 200 small paper-made houses with light candles inside were let to float on the lake in the city’s central park in an event called ‘The Night of Fulfilled Dreams.’
