Italian actor Franco Nero will be the special guest at this year’s edition of the Bucharest International Film Festival BIFF. The event, at its 11th edition in 2015, will take place between April 20-26 at Cinema Studio, Cinema Elvira Popescu and Club Control. All titles will be screened for the first time in Romania and, except one, will not be distributed in Romanian cinemas.
Franco Nero will join Romanian audiences in the last three days of the festival and can be seen in Nymph, the feature film directed by Milan Todorovic.
The six films in this year’s BIFF competition are: Self-Portrait of a Dutiful Daughter (Romania, directed by Ana Lungu); Cold in July (USA, directed by Jim Mickle); A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (USA, directed by Ana Lily Amirpour); Hyena (Great Britain, directed by Gerard Johnson); Kebab & Horoscope (Poland, directed by Grzegorz Jaroszuk); Far from Men (France, directed by David Oelhoffen).
