(A) Two musical genders meet for the first time on Romanian Athenaeum stage
For the first time on the Romanian Athenaeum stage, on the 27th of November great musiciens who represent two apparently different musical genders- classic and jazz- meet in front of an elitist public to offer us 80 minutes of emotions. At the invitation of Emil Bîzgă, the Philharmonic Orchestra and renowned musicians from New York (Xavier Davis – piano, David Baron- bass and Mark Whitfield Jr.- drums) will introduce us in the secrets of a world highly appreciated by the music lovers.
Over the years Emil Bîzgă has collaborated with Ray Charles, Vladimir Cozma, Tony Bennett and many more.
80 minutes for your soul, a chance for the teenagers in the placement centers
The profit obtained from the concert supports 60 teenagers, aged 16-18, from the placement centers of Bucharest and Sinaia. Weekly they will benefit of specialized courses designed to help them discover and develop their abilities in order to facilitate their access to the labour market. It’s the solution that Manieres Association has found in order to help the teenagers who confrunt themselves with a double abandonment, once from their families and the second time from the part of a society- that is to little prepared to support them when they become major. If they don’t enter a university, at 18 years old they are obliged to leave the placement center and they find themselves with no emotional or financial support.
O small musical gift until you get to hear Emil Bîzgă http://www.myspace.com/emilbizga.
Vouchers that offer you the access to the concert and the support of the cause can be bought online from http://fromclassictojazz.ro/vouchers.html or directly from the organizers Ştefana Mireţ, [email protected]
