Widely acclaimed jazz, funk and soul group Brother Strut will be in Bucharest on October 31st for a concert at Sala Radio.

The group was formed in 2012 by producer and saxophonist Stevie Jones as a challenge to the X-Factor generation of manufactured celebrities. The group is made up of Sam Tanner (keyboard/vocal), Stevie Jones (saxophone & keyboard), Steve Pearce (bass), Frankie Tontoh (drums) and Otha Smith (electric guitar).

They recorded for legendary names such as Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Madonna, Sting, George Michael, Amy Winehouse and Tina Turner, but are more than a studio band. The group draws influences from funk, blues, and the American soul music of the 60s and 70s.

Tickets, priced RON 85 to RON 135, are available at eventim.ro.
