‘Hand Held’, a documentary about Romania’s orphans from the 90s will be screened in Bucharest on February 10, starting 18:30, at the Grand Cinema Digiplex within Baneasa Shopping City. The documentary, directed by Don Hahn, presents the story of photojournalist Michael Carroll, who came to Romania in 1990 and discovered the HIV-infected orphans in Romania.
‘Hand Held’ is an 80-minute documentary produced and directed by Hollywood filmmaker Don Hahn, a two time academy award nominee. The film presents the incredible life story of Mike Carroll, the president of Fundatia Inocenti and Romanian Children’s Relief, showcasing the last 21 years since he started the charitable activities in Romania.
