An exhibition featuring 83 lithographs of the French painter is open in Bucharest until June 7 at the Noblesse Palace, in the Rosetii square area.

The French artist, famous for his use of color and expressive language, is regarded as the principal protagonist of Fauvism, the first avant-garde movement at the turn of the century. His work is considered innovative both in its treatment of the human figure and in the constructive and expressive role of color.
