Over 200 breed cats from all over the world can be admired this weekend, November 1 and 2, in an international cat competition at Sala Palatului in Bucharest. Visitors are also invited to vote their favorite cat, choosing from breeds such as Persian, Exotic, Maine Coon, Norwegian Forest cat, Ragdoll, Siberian, Turkish Angora, Sacred Cat of Burma, Bengali, British Shorthair, Abysiniana, Chartreaux, Devon Rex, Don Sphynx, Russian Blue, Burma, Singapura, Sphynx, Oriental and Siamese, each day from 10:00 to 17:00.

The preliminaries will take place both Saturday and Sunday, after which the grand finale will present the finalists of the four categories (Persian and exotic, semi-long hair, short hair, Oriental and Siamese). A special competition, Full Monty, will be dedicated to Sphynx and Don Sphynx cats.

As every year, the event will also host the campaign “Show that you care” raising donations (food or money) for animals in shelters. Animal welfare organizations such as ROBI, Free Pets, Red Panda and Gia will bring vaccinated and sterilized cats for adoption.

The event will also include stands where visitors can buy products and accessories for their pets, ranging from toys to jewelry.

The entrance fee is RON 10 (EUR 2). Children can visit the competition for free.
