The eight edition of the Italian Festival opened in Bucharest on May 12th and will be on until June 24th, aiming to bring Italy and its culture close to local audiences. On June 2nd Italy celebrates its national day.
The festival includes several events dedicated to promoting Made in Italy products, such as food, fashion and furniture, and will see special promotions and discounts of various types. A week dedicated to Italian Cuisine Week will take place between May 28th and June 5th, when several Italian restaurants in Bucharest will serve dishes at promotional prices. During the same time period, the Italian Fashion Week will take place, with several Italian brands present in Bucharest offering special prices. Also between May 28th and June 5th the Interior Design Week will kick off, while between June 1st and June 14th books written by Italian authors will come at special prices.
The Italian Wine & Food Day will take place May 25th. The event is dedicated to promoting Italian wines and food and the exhibitors will be Italian producers looking to enter the local market. The Italian Beauty & Care Day will happen on June 21st, also with Italian producers present.
The photography exhibition Ciao Bucarest. Italian Urban Influences will take place on June 1st at Romania’s National Museum of Art.
