Jazz pianist Hiromi Uehara will perform once more in Bucharest, on June 30, 2015, at 20:00, at Sala Radio. This time, she will be accompanied by multi-awarded bass player Anthony Jackson and drummer Simon Phillips. The concert is part of the tour promoting the trio’s latest album, Alive.

The Japanese musician is known as one of the vanguards of contemporary jazz. Simon Phillips has had collaborations with Toto, Judas Priest, Peter Gabriel, Whitesnake and Mick Jagger. Bass player Anthony Jackson is the inventor of the six-string bass guitar. His collaborations include names such as Simon & Garfunkel, Michel Petrucciani, Dizzy Gillespie and Chick Corea.

Hiromi’s first two performances in Romania have been very well received by the public, tickets for both of the concerts selling out quicker than the organizers expected.

The concert is organized as part of the Jazz Night Out, a series of concerts promoting top jazz performances in Romania.

Tickets for the concert are RON 95, RON 135 and RON 155 de lei and can be acquired online on www.eventim.ro and in the Eventim network (Germanos, Orange Shop, Vodafone and Domo shops, Cărturesti and Humanitas bookshops).
