Spanish tenor Jose Carreras will hold a concert in Bucharest on November 26th, starting 20.00 at Romexpo. The concert is part of his Final World Tour. Known for his performances in the operas of Verdi and Puccini, Carreras made his debut at age 11 as Trujaman in Manuel de Falla’s El retablo de Maese Pedro. He performed over 60 roles throughout his career, in the world’s leading opera houses and in numerous recordings. He is known to the wider public as one of The Three Tenors alongside Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti.

He is also known for his humanitarian work as the president of the José Carreras International Leukaemia Foundation, which he established following his own recovery from the disease in 1988.
