Food journalist, blogger and chef Cristina Mazilu recently opened Mazilique Studio, the first open kitchen in Bucharest. The studio is meant to host cooking workshops, recipes and menus testing, gourmet meetings, photo sessions, product launches or private parties.

The 90 smq studio is located on the Fainari street of Bucharest and as designed by architect Eliza Yokina, co-founder of architecture studio Syaa. The plan of the studio started from the communal table, which meets the cooking island.

“I wanted an open kitchen, a space where people can gather around the house. Beside the food, I wanted a place that creates moments. This is why I took up cooking, because it was an experience I could share with others,” Cristina Mazilu explains.
