Sporting goods chain store Decathlon is holding a second-hand sports equipment fair in all its locations in Romania, until April 12. The fair is organized twice a year and mediates the selling between sports enthusiasts who want to exchange old equipment over new one and those on the look for cheaper, but in good use products.

All equipment entering the Trocathlon market are checked by the store personnel in order to make sure they function perfectly. Products are acquired at the price requested by the seller with no additional fees – the service is free for both sellers and buyers.

Those who sell their old equipment at the fair receive in return a voucher equivalent to the value of the sold product, available for 6 months in the chain store.

The only used products which shoppers won’t find at the fair are clothing, footwear and accessories for various sports: from helmets, ropes for climbing and life jackets to guns for hunting.
