One of the most popular singers in Italy, Maria Nazionale, will hold two concerts this week in Romania: on October 2 in Bucharest and on October 5 in Cluj-Napoca. The shows were first scheduled for May but organizers decided to postpone them for this fall.

Maria Nazionale started off her career with EMI record company, when she was just a teenager. Known for the strong influence of Napoletan music, her style has brought her national and international acclaim throughout the years. She has collaborated with artists such as Nino D’Angelo, Tullio de Piscopo, Mario Merola and Nuccia Fumo.Her album „Maria Nazionale Classic” released in 2004 under the guidance of Peppe Vessichio şi Maurizio Pica was very well received by the public, attracting praise from renowned artists such as Andrea Bocelli and Pippo Baudo.

In 2008, Maria Nazionale also starred the “Gomorra” movie, along with actors Toni Servillo and Gianfelice Imparato. The movie was awarded with the Grand Prize at the Festival in Cannes, ranking first in sales top.
