The ninth edition of Anim’est starts today in Bucharest. Between October 3 and 12, the popular international animation film festival will screen some of the latest animations at Elvira Popescu, Studio movie theaters and at Re: Animation Hub.

Kids have a dedicated program in the festival: Minimest, a series of screenings, interactive activities and workshops.

From Friday to Sunday, during the two weekends (October 3-5 and 10-12), well-known as well as fresh animations for children will be screened at Elvira Popescu and Studio movie theatres. Between Minimest screenings, the little ones can interact with Creative Arts and Da’DeCe trainers in educational activities. During October 6 and 10, kids aged 8 – 12 years can create their own short films at a cut-out animation workshop with the subject: Re: Animating Bucharest.

Tickets for Minimest screenings are 7 lei and can be bought online at www.eventbook.ro and at Elvira Popescu and Studio movie theaters, during the festival.

The full program of the festival is available on the Anim’est website.
