The Magic Flute by W.A. Mozart will be on at the Bucharest Comic opera for Children on January 17th starting 11.00. The performance features a live orchestra, ballet scenes and interactive moments.

The Magic Flute is an opera in two acts to a German libretto by Emanuel Schikaneder. The work includes both singing and spoken dialogue. It premiered in 1791 at Schikaneder’s theatre, the Freihaus-Theater auf der Wieden in Vienna. The storyline portrays the education of mankind, progressing from chaos to rationalistic enlightenment, by means of trial and error.

Tickets, priced RON 15 to RON 25, are available at bilete.ro. One day prior to the event they are only available at the box office of the opera. The event is for children aged 7 and older.
