The fourth edition of the Innersound New Arts Festival will take place between September 28th and October 1st in Bucharest. The events will take place in such venues as The Ark, Elvira Popesco cinema, George Enescu Museum and the Bucharest Music University.

Over 60 artists from eight countries will perform at events in the festival, which takes place under the Touch concept. The festival invites the public to discover the power that art has to generate innovation in any area and bring it closer to the future.

The first day of the festival will bring a concert by the Ad Libitum quartet, made up of Alexandru Tomescu, Şerban Mereuţă, Bogdan Bişoc and Filip Papa. The four musicians will perform the winning piece at the InnerSound competition: Glance of Memories by young composer Sebastian Androne.

Later the same day a multimedia exhibition curated by Ciprian Ciuclea and a photo exhibition will also open. The photo exhibition includes works by Svetlana Maras (Serbia), Matei Bejenaru, Livia Mateias, Marius Jurca, Minim (Diana Dulgheru), Syntax (Laurian Bardos), Gabriel Kelemenn and Ioana Vreme.

A Film Night will take place the second day of the festival. Ten short, silent, experimental and animation films will be screened. These are the films competing for the Inner Sound Trophy and they will be accompanied by a sound track composed by ten Romanian musicians and interpreted by SonoMania ensemble, conducted by Alexandru Mija.

A special guest at the event is David OReilly, an Irish artist living in Los Angeles and known for his awarded animation and digital art work.
