Romania’s National Arts Museum in Bucharest (MNAR) is launching the Museum Night program, which sees its main headquarters and satellite museums stay open until 22:00 in the last weekend of each month.
As such, this July visitors will be able to visit the National Gallery and the temporary exhibition The Mirrors of the Orient, the European Art Gallery and the Arts Collections Museum, the K.H. Zambaccian Museum and the Theodor Pallady Museum. Last visit to the exhibition spaces starts at 21:30.
On July 30th, the museum is organizing in the yard of its main headquarters a debate themed ‘What do we want from MNAR?’. Various personalities in the local cultural scene, representatives of NGOs and the visiting public can attend the event, which puts up for discussion the museum’s strategy.
