Young francophones in Romania get together with French diplomats, business men and other representatives at a picnic taking place in 20 localities in the country, to celebrate the International Francophonie Month. This year, participants are encouraged to enter in a game to publish haiku poems in French on social medias.

#haikunoi2015 Poetic Picnic (Picnic Poetic #haikunoi2015 in Romanian) will take place next Tuesday, March 17, during 12:00 – 15:00, when several ambassadors of francophone countries will travel the country to join the event. François Saint-Paul, Ambassador of France in Romania, will take part in the event at the Cultural Palace in Ploieşti, Joanne Lemay, Ambassador of Canada will be in Craiova, Faouz El Achchabi, Ambassador of Morocco will join the event in Piteşti, while Jean-Hubert Lebet, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation will be present in Piatra-Neamţ. In Bucharest, the picnic will take place at Casa Universitarilor.

At 14:00, all participants will publish their poems on their personal Facebook page, using the #haikunoi2015 hashtag.
