A new festival, dedicated to local and international artists, takes place in Bucharest between November 29th and December 4th. Called Ur.Basm, the six-day event illustrates urban happenings where the public is invited to be a witness or even a participant.
The first edition of the festival is dedicated to visual artists in Bucharest.
The story of the festival will unfold in a series of spaces that will constitute the day or night stops from visitors from all over the country.
Events taking place during the day include musical production workshops at DJ SuperStore, fashion and digital art workshops, exhibitions, graffiti art, urban installations, metal sculptures, street art and an architecture and design workshop where the cadastre plan of Bucharest can be admired.
Events during the day take place at Club Kran, Club GuestHouse, Club Kristal, Romexpo (C4, C5-C6 pavilions). Guests include: Abelle, Alex Danilov, Andrey Zots, Aquarius Heaven, Barac, Ben Klock, Cassy, Cobblestone Jazz (live), Dasha Redkina, Detroit Swindle, Dub Pistols (live band), Francesca Lombardo, Francesco Del Garda, Francesco Tristano, Guti, John Digweed, K!d Chriss, Kidnapp Kid, Livio & Roby, Loco Dice, Mahony, Mathew Jonson, Mihigh, Moodymann, Orgue Electronique (live), Oscar & The Wolf, Petre Inspirescu, Priku, Raresh, Rayo, Sasha, Seuil, Sonodab, TC80, ToFu Productions (Thomas Melchior + Fumiya Tanaka), Todd Terry, Vlada, Waldeck, Wareika (live) and Zendid.
