The Xenofon street in Bucharest, the city’s only stairways street, has a new look, designed by artist Eva Radu. The 200 years old and narrow road is less than 100 meters long but has over 70 steps, and links the Constantin Istrati street to the Suter alley.
The project of paining the street aims to bring more color to the neighborhood and an attraction point for the tourists visiting the area. The painting transformed the street into an ‘urban oasis’, where the steps are painted with the image of a mountain waterfall.
