More than 140 movies will enter the competition of the ninth edition of the NexT Film Festival, the biggest short film festival in Romania. 36 of them are competing for awards in the two sections of the festival: international and national competitions.

The festival will take place between the April 15 and April 19, with screenings at Studio Cinema, Cinema Elvire Popesco, CinemaPRO and the Romanian Cultural Institute, in Control Club, J’ai Bistro, ArCuB, Carturești, ad Garajul Ciclop. It features dedicated sections or evenings for Romanian Films, Kung Fu “fight” films, musical stories, experimental film and a collection of titles nominated for European Film Awards 2014. The Behind the Scenes section targets audiences that are curious about how movies are made.
