Woman’s Day will be reinvented, on March 8 at Arenele Romane in Bucharest, with a special electronic music show that consists of a 100% female line-up formed by DJs Nina Kraviz, Ellen Allien, Miss Kittin and Alexandra. . The mix of influences will create a diverse event, each of the four artists bringing their different personalities and backgrounds.
Born in Siberia, Nina Kraviz had her first contact with electronic music recently, in 2008. She received international recognition in May 2012 with a charming BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix that combines influences of house, techno and acid.
Ellen Allien is one of Berlin’s talents in whatever project she starts: DJ, musician, label manager, business woman and fashion designer. In music, she brings an alien sound that evolves year by year in her live performances.
Caroline Herve aka Miss Kittin is originally from France, and managed to become one of the most inspired figures and voices in the electronic music scene.
Alexandra is a well known name in the Romanian electronic music. With a great passion for vinyls, inspiration from various music styles , artists and arts, she never wants to label her style as a certain genre.
