The ongoing Tea & Coffee Festival will see a series of multicultural nights organized between October 22nd and October 25th.

The African Night takes place October 22nd at Tucano Café Dorobanti, starting 19.00. Besides coffee tasting, the event will include a presentation of the Capsula by Ruxandra clothing collection and a concert by Ikhaya Band, the jazz influenced African percussion band.

The Chinese Night takes place October 23rd at the La Un Ceai cafe and brings a demonstration of the tea ceremony in China and a traditional music concert delivered by the Confucius Institute in Bucharest. Ch’artist – Paint Your Own Pottery Studio will hold a workshop detailing the technique of painting on ceramics with Chinese motifs.

The Argentinian Night comes on October 24th at Café Verona with an introductory tango lesson held by instructors from Tango Tangent. This will be followed by a concert by Jezebel, accompanied by guitarist Tudor Anghelescu, known for the concerts he plays at local Milongas.

The Turkish Night happens on October 25th at Divan Express. Sașa-Liviu Stoianovici, one of the few players of Turkish saz in Romania, will offer a concert, while the Yunus Emre Cultural Center will hold a demonstration on how to prepare coffee on sand, followed by a coffee reading workshop with Poliana Radu.

British and Japanese Nights are scheduled for the following week.
